以黑水虻處理有機廢棄物創造循環經濟

近年來，因為科技的進步，讓人們過著豐腴的生活，但同時也造成了食物的浪費，每年都有大量的廚餘產生，近期因應豬瘟的政策禁止以廚餘餵食豬隻，故堆肥及焚燒處理是目前最主要的處理方式，然而堆肥耗時，而焚燒如果沒有處理好，廚餘的水分容易導致產生戴奧辛，對環境造成危害。畜牧糞尿的部分，因為大部分畜牧場處理設施的每日處理量都不足當日產生量，還是有很多都會排放於排水溝，造成河川污染。因此找尋對環境較無影響、且成本較低，是更具環境經濟的方式。黑水虻在許多研究發現指出為幫助處理有機廢棄物的好幫手，能將蟲隻拿去餵食動物，還能將有機廢棄物食用後剩下粗纖維及糞便做為培養土肥料，成蟲部分因為口器退化，只需少許水份即可生存
，並且在交配完後死亡，屍體還能萃取出油脂，從出生至死亡對環境影響較小，且還能有循環經濟的效果。本研究將探討黑水虻在不同氣溫下，不同比例的鹽份對於黑水虻的生長情況，及餵食牛糞、豬糞與餵食廚餘的生長情況，將所有試驗組之幼蟲分析其重金屬、蛋白質含量，以及分析成蟲的油脂含量與熱值。本研究試驗顯示，氣溫越高，生長情況明顯較氣溫低時來的更快速，且需要之飼料越少。在鹽份比例的部分，鹽份比例越高，黑水虻生長情況偏低，但無顯著差異，但鹽份比例最高的蟲隻蛋白質最高。在餵食不同飼料的部分，餵食固液分離牛糞及豬糞生長效益最差，蛋白質也最低，其餘效益由高到低為廚餘、1比1廚餘混搭豬糞、1比1廚餘混搭牛糞、新鮮豬糞及新鮮
牛糞。幼蟲蟲體的鎘、銅、鉛、鋅等4種重金屬含量大多都與飼料含量差不多，甚至有的高於飼料本身含量，可能有生物累積，較容易存留在蟲體內，而鉻與鎳重金屬含量都低於飼料本身含量。
