摘要湯氏黃點鯆（Platyrhina tangi）為底棲性中小型鱝類，廣泛分布於臺灣東北部海域100公尺以淺之沙泥底海床。本研究以宜蘭大溪漁港所採樣本進行研究。採樣時間自2009年9月至2010年11月，期間採得雌魚465尾（11.7-58.5 cm TL），雄魚216尾（12.7-46.9 cm TL），共計681尾；其中37尾為所採得懷孕雌魚分娩所產下之幼魚樣本，出生體長(L0)平均為11.86 cm TL。本研究以脊椎骨做為年齡形質，最高判讀年齡雌雄分別為20歲及11歲；輪紋形成週期為一年，透明帶（窄帶）輪紋於11月間形成，最佳套適成長方程式為von Bertalanffy成長方程式（

VBGF）。雌魚極限體長（L∞）為59.3 cm TL，成長係數（k）為0.142 yr-1，（t0）為–1.83歲；雄魚極限體長為49.6 cm TL，成長係數為0.185 yr-1，體長為零時之理論年齡為–1.68歲。雌、雄魚50%性成熟體長分別為33.8 cm及32.6 cm TL，50%性成熟年齡雌雄均為4.1歲。本種生殖週期為一年，推測交配季節在11-12月間，產仔季節則是於10-12月間。妊娠期大約1年，期間包含6-8個月的胎仔滯育期，每胎子宮孕仔數2-23尾。
