本研究擬以上市六檔ETF,分別為第一金臺灣工業菁英30 ETF(證券代號︰00728)、富邦台灣優質高息ETF(證券代號︰00730)、國泰台灣ESG永續高股息ETF(證券代號︰00878)、國泰台灣5G PLUS ETF(證券代號︰00881)、富邦富時越南ETF(證券代號︰00885)、

The Relationship between Quality of Nursing Work Life and Attitudes and Practices toward COVID-19 among Philippine Uniformed Nurses

AbstractBackground: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is rapidly spreading worldwide. Healthcare providers are not exempted from the high morbidity and mortality rate of COVID-19. Philippines has a huge shortage of nursing manpower over two decades and uniformed nurses play a critical role during

COVID-19 pandemic. The study aimed to assess the relationship of quality of nursing work life (QNWL) and attitudes and practices toward COVID-19.Methodology: A quantitative descriptive cross-sectional design was used. Uniformed nurses were recruited from four government hospitals in Metro Manila, P

hilippines during COVID-19 pandemic. Using an online survey, participants completed basic demographic information, and two self-administered questionnaires: quality of nursing work life (QNWL) questionnaire, attitudes and practices toward COVID-19 questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, independent t

-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical linear regression analyses were conducted to gauge the relationship between demographics, QNWL, attitudes and practices toward COVID-19.Results: The mean age of participants was 29 years (SD = 4.02). Majority of the participants

were young adult (20-30 years), female (79/147, 53.7%), single (84/147, 57.1%), no children (74/147, 50.3%), and did not care of their spouse/partner/elderly parents (125/147, 85.0%). Most of them did not have certification in specialty area (142/147, 96.6%), involved in mandatory rotating shift in

an in-patient department. The average scores of total QNWL were high (185.56, SD = 22.52). Participants had favorable attitudes (3.14, SD = 0.93) and good practices (2.98, SD = 0.70) toward COVID-19. There was a statistically significant relationship between QNWL and certified specialty area (p = 0.

04*) while practices toward COVID-19 were associated with age (p = 0.01*), care of spouse/partner/elderly parents (p < 0.00**), ethnicity (p < 0.00***), rotating shift (p = 0.03*) and type of unit currently working (p < 0.00***). Moreover, practices toward COVID-19 is a significant predictor of QNWL

(p = 0.04) including its subscale, work design (p < 0.00***). Thus, practices toward COVID-19 were statistically significant with QNWL.Conclusion: Young-adult uniformed nurses took a big responsibility during COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. QNWL was associated with certified specialty area an

d practices toward COVID-19.
